City Taxi Tour by Dawson!

Enjoy a morning, afternoon or evening panoramic city tour in a taxi, driven by Dawson Wright. Dawson is a well known Calgarian and a winner of the "White Hatter" Hospitality Award. He will pick you up at the airport or from your hotel and will give you a two or three hour introductory tour of Calgary with or without stops at Fort Calgary, Canada Olympic Park, the site of the 1988 Winter Olympic venues and a number of other interesting sites. Admissions to the various attractions are not included.

Banff & Lake Louise

Enjoy a full day excursion to the Canadian Rockies with stops in Canmore, Banff and Lake Louise. Travel thru the foothills country of Alberta with a short coffee break in Canmore before proceeding into Banff National Park to Lake Louise. The tour takes the Bow River Parkway, when open, to Lake Louise with Elk and Mountain Sheep frequently seen along route. After looking over the "Ski Louise" Resort your destination is the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise at the lake itself. Time is given for lunch and for views of the Lake before returning to Banff with a short town tour, including a stop at the Upper Hot Springs and the Sulphur Mountain Gondola Lift (not included in the rate). Afterwards a short stop at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, Bow Falls and downtown Banff before returning to Calgary in the early evening.

Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, A Unesco World Heritage Site!

Join us for a a scenic journey to the native past. About a two hour drive south of Calgary is Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, one of the oldest and most interesting buffalo jumps in North America. This is the place where the foothills of the Rocky Mountains meet the great plains, one of the world's oldest, largest and best preserved buffalo jumps know to exist. It has been used continuously by aboriginal peoples of the plains for over 5000 years. After lunch we travel thru the rolling Porcupine Hills and see Lundbreck Falls before returning to Calgary via Highway 22 thru "cowboy-land" on the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rockies.

Our best one day tour from Calgary! Enjoy the trip west through the rolling ranch lands to the Canadian Rockies Resorts of Banff and Lake Louise. See the Crowfoot Glacier, Bow Lake and the viewpoint at Peyto Lake (shown above). Peyto viewpoint is open spring, summer, fall only. From the Calgary Airport OR most Calgary Hotels. Experience Southern Alberta at its best...the fascinating history of its native people and where the mighty buffalo reigned supreme! Visit the WWII Lancaster Bomber Museum in Nanton. Explore the World Heritage Site of HEAD-SMASHED-IN BUFFALO JUMP. If time & museum opening permits you may wish to add a stop at the North West Mounted Police Museum at Fort Macleod.

Continental Divide and Mountain Lakes Tour

Enjoy the trip west to British Columbia through the rolling Alberta ranchlands to the Canadian Rockies. See the Crowfoot Glacier, Bow Lake and the viewpoint at Peyto Lake. Enjoy crossing the Continental Divide and into the Yoho River Valley, the Spiral Tunnels and Takakkaw Falls, as shown above. (Takakkaw Falls is open in late spring and closes in early fall).

If time permits, the Natural Bridge and Emerald Lake. The return stop includes Lake Louise. Due to to the length of this tour, we are unable to make a stopover in Banff, although we can drop anyone at their Banff Hotel.
